Gastaldi & C. operates as General Liner Agent, representing Shipping Companies and / or Operators and / or NVOCC in the sea freight transport sector. Under the Gastaldi Tramp ™ brand, the company provides Port Shipping Agency services to a large number of customers, in all Italian ports.
Gastaldi & C. includes a maritime brokers division, specifically chartering and handling iron and steel products, general cargo, as well as covering the bunker brokerage sector, supplying fuel to ships.
Liner Agency
Gastaldi & C. can easily be recognized as one of the most important and renowned independent Shipping Agencies operating in Italy. Specifically in the Liner sector, over the last decade, there has been a gradual integration and absorption of the Shipping Agencies within the structure of large Carriers. To date, only a few operators have managed to maintain an adequate independent commercial and operational organization in the area.
Chartering Brokers
Gastaldi & C. boasts a long-standing experience in this specific sector as well. Thanks to the constant support of many of our loyal customers, we have dedicated and specialized ourselves with particular focus to the ‘conventional cargo’ field. Our brokers maintain preferential channels with the main Italian exporters, and often manage to satisfy their needs by fetching the most suitable ship on the specific requested dates.
